A 15-year-old girl in Tumpat, Kelantan, was found injured after she reportedly went out for a morning run with her younger brother.
According to Sin Chew Daily, the siblings became separated during the run. The boy later returned home, believing his sister may have gone back first.
The girl was later found by a member of the public near a bushy area in Pasir Pekan and was sent to hospital for treatment.
Police have confirmed the case and are investigating under provisions related to rape and causing hurt during robbery. As the victim is a minor, her identity should remain protected.
