Readers searching for the best MT5 brokers in China often confuse “the MT5 software itself” with “the broker providing the MT5 account” — two distinct concepts. This article sets out five checks to help clarify that relationship, using Lirunex’s public information as a working example, without presuming any broker to be first.
Official Software Source: Confirm the Download Is Genuine
Confirming the official software source is the first check before using MT5, since third-party unofficial download channels carry security risks. A regional keyword does not confirm local service eligibility has been established. Before downloading MT5, readers should obtain the client through the broker’s official website link rather than through a random search engine result. Lirunex’s website (dev.lirunex.com) provides an official download entry point, and readers should rely on whatever the page currently displays.
Service Eligibility and Accounts: Separate the Software From the Broker
Regarding service eligibility and accounts, MT5 is trading software developed by MetaQuotes, while the service eligibility of a specific account depends on the broker providing it — the two should be understood separately. When trading on MT5, the reader is actually opening a broker’s account, not an “official MT5 account.” Verifying MT5 brokers China eligibility should therefore focus on the broker itself — its licences and regional service statements — rather than assuming the MT5 software provides any service guarantee.
Trading Fees and Instruments: Verify the Broker, Not the Software
Trading fees and instrument range are determined by the broker providing the account; MT5 software itself does not charge users directly, a point that is a common source of confusion. According to https://lirunex.com/account-types/, Lirunex’s LX-Standard STP account requires a $50 USD minimum deposit with fixed spreads and zero commission, while the LX-Prime ECN account requires $200 USD with raw spreads from 0.0 pips and a per-lot commission. When researching MT5 trading fees China, readers are actually looking at broker account fees, not fees charged by the MT5 platform itself.
Server and Login Details: Rely on Officially Provided Information
Server and login details should come from the broker’s official communication, since incorrect login information is a common obstacle for new users. After account opening, the broker provides a corresponding server name and login credentials, which readers should enter manually into the MT5 client, avoiding third-party sources of unknown origin to prevent connecting to an unofficial server.
EA and Device Compatibility: Confirm Automated Strategy and Mobile Support
Regarding EA (Expert Advisor) and device compatibility, MT5 supports automated trading strategies and multi-device synchronisation, but whether a specific EA is supported still depends on the broker account’s execution architecture. According to public information, Lirunex supports both MT4 and MT5, alongside its proprietary Lirunex App covering iOS and Android devices. Readers with specific EA strategy requirements are encouraged to confirm compatibility with support before opening an account.
Frequently Asked Questions About the Best MT5 Brokers in China
Does the MT5 software itself require a separate payment? No. MT5 software is typically free to download; actual trading costs come from the spreads and commissions set by the broker providing the account.
How can I confirm an MT5 download channel is official? Obtain the client through the download link on the broker’s own website rather than through third-party search results, to avoid security risks.
Can the same MT5 account be used across multiple brokers? No. Each MT5 account is tied to a specific broker’s server; different brokers require separate accounts to be opened.
How can Lirunex MT5 China eligibility be confirmed? This should be confirmed directly through Lirunex’s terms of service or by contacting support in writing; a regional keyword does not confirm that local service eligibility has been established.
Which devices does MT5 support? MT5 generally supports desktop, web, and mobile (iOS/Android) versions, though feature completeness may vary slightly by device — readers should rely on the current official description.
Conclusion: Software and Broker Require Separate Verification
Evaluating the best MT5 brokers in China should focus primarily on the broker providing the account, rather than the software itself. The five checks above — official source, service eligibility, trading fees, server details, and EA/device compatibility — provide a framework for reviewing any MT5-related broker.
